    You email us

    Please email us at info@melbourneaccessaudits.com.au. In the email, please include: client details and address, project address, what you need, when you need it, plus attach all relevant drawings, checklists and comments from the architect or building surveyor

    We review your email

    After receiving your email, we'll send you a reply email letting you know we received everything. We'll then check through your drawings, scope, information, project description, and then prepare the quote.

    If we have any questions we will call or email you.

    We send you the proposal

    Lastly, we'll email you the proposal document, which will include our $20M PI and PL insurance covers and our prequalifications for risk management and OHS.

    Once you're ready to engage us, you just complete a few details on the Engagement Form and send it back to us. Simple!

    Are you Qualified Access Consultants?

    Yes, we have completed extensive studies in building surveying, performance-based fire & building code, accessibility and project management, including short courses, undergraduate and postgraduate studies.

    Who is the ACA?

    The Access Consultants Association (ACA) is the national, membership-based, professional association for people working in building accessibility. It is the national body for Access Consultants in Australia. ACA accredits members who have reached the required level of experience and competency.

    What is a Disability Access Consultant?

    A Disability Access Consultant provides compliance advice, specifically, how to meet the minimum prescriptive requirements of the Building Code of Australia, and the Access to Premises Standards under the Disability Discrimination Act 1992.

    What is a DDA Consultant?

    DDA stands for the Disability Discrimination Act 1992. A DDA Consultant is the title for a person who assists others to meet the needs of people with disability. As DDA Consultants we work with many clients on projects across Australia.

    Can you work anywhere in Australia?

    Yes, while we have an office in Melbourne, we work all over the country. Key personnel have even worked in Japan and China.

    What is a Performance Solution?

    A Performance Solution, or an Alternative Solution, means a method of complying with the BCA and Premises Standards Performance Requirements other than by satisfying the prescriptive Deemed-to-Satisfy Solution.

    What is your experience in developing Performance Solutions?

    The principal consultant of MAA, Lee Wilson, was appointed by the Australian Building Codes Board (ABCB) in early 2018 as a Subject Matter Expert and has consulted on many projects requiring Performance Solutions. These projects have included aged-care centres, hospital, hotels, airports, shopping centres etc.
